The Cultural Foundation of Tinos proudly presents the 17th Jazz on Tinos Festival, taking place from August 27 to 29, 2026, under the title Archipelago. Since its inception, the Festival has continuously expanded its repertoire and audience, enriching the artistic life of Tinos and creating new opportunities for guest artists, especially emerging talents.

For the second consecutive year, the Festival collaborates officially with the Jazz Department of the Ionian University, which leads the educational program. The jazz workshops will take place at the Cultural Foundation of Tinos from August 26 to 30, 2026.

This year’s guest of honor is Nick Smart. Head of Jazz Programmes at the Royal Academy of Music, Nick Smart is an internationally renowned jazz educator, trumpeter and conductor who has given guest masterclasses and performances around the world and nominated for a 2026 Grammy Award for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album. He will perform alongside artistic director of Jazz on Tinos, Dimos Dimitriadis, and instructors of the Ionian University.

Professor Dimos Dimitriadis serves as artistic director of the Festival, while professors and instructors of the Ionian University Jazz Program will oversee both the artistic and educational aspects of the event, encompassing workshops, masterclasses, jam sessions, and high-caliber concerts.
